Learning modalities (Read, Listen, Map, Cards, Watch, Podcast)
What each modality does in the course viewer and when it is available.
Inside a course, open a module. The top bar lists modalities as tabs.
- Read: Text and structured content. Always available first.
- Listen: Audio narration. May take a few seconds the first time it generates; later opens are usually instant if cached.
- Map: Mind map of key ideas. You can switch between Module and Course scope when that control appears.
- Cards: Flashcards for quick recall.
- Watch: Video when your team published a generated or uploaded video; otherwise it stays unavailable until they add one.
- Podcast: Dialogue-style audio when the course author enabled it in Studio.
